COLE - Dolly Sybil Cole passed away on March 6, 2006 in Williams Lake, British Columbia.
She was born Dolly Brown at Czar, Alberta on October 13, 1916.
On October 31, 1940 she married Gordon Cole.
After their marriage, they moved to McBride, then to the Lower Mainland of B.C. where they spent a few years.
They then moved to Williams Lake where they remained until their passing.
Her loving husband of 65 years having just passed away in October of 2005.
Dolly was predeceased by beloved husband Gordon and son-in-law Brian Nelson.
She leaves to mourn daughters Lynne Widdoes and Shirley Nelson of Williams Lake, grandchildren, Lonnie and Simone Widdoes and four great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law Jaunita Richardson of Stettler and Betty and Art Tait of London, Ontario, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Dolly endured many physical disabilities throughout her life as a result of having polio as a young child.
However, she cheerfully lived a very busy and fulfilled life as a faithful wife, mother, relative, and friend.
After moving into the Williams Lake senior’s village a year ago, she enjoyed her freedom in getting around with her scooter, visiting, attending activities and church services at the centre.
She was a very caring person and loved by all who knew her.
Interment will be held at Czar Cemetery in the summer of 2006.
