| BRIDGE - Mrs. Mary Ann Bridge, beloved wife of Gordon Bridge of Sylvan Lake, Ab., passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, July 22, 2005 at the age of 76 years. Mary was born on November 26, 1928 at Coronation, Alberta where she grew up. In 1946 Mary met her beloved husband Gordon and they were married on July 25, 1951 at Coronation. Mary and Gordon raised their family in Talbot, Tees and Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly. Her happiest moments were large family gatherings and enjoying meals together at the family table. Mary also loved gardening and enjoyed going fishing and relaxing in the great outdoors. Mary will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and many dear friends. Mary leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband of 54 years, Gordon of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, her loving children, Garry (Cheryl) Bridge of Edmonton, Randy (Joann) Bridge, also of Sylvan Lake, Patti (Brian) Phillips of Fox Creek, Alberta, her treasured grandchildren, Jeremy Bridge, Danielle (Pat) Callon and Desiree Bridge; Natalie (Jason) Gamble, Jamie (Raoul) Matagora and Justin Phillips and her five great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers, Heinz (Tina) Plehnert of Coronation, Alberta, Carl Plehnert of Leslieville, Alberta and her sister, Rose (Johnny) Sirmon of Edmonton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mary was predeceased by a son, Norman and two infant daughters, Georgina and Myrna. The funeral service was held at the Coronation United Church on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 1 p.m. Interment followed at the Fairfield Cemetery.
