Youths arrested On the evening of September 24, 2008 members of the Coronation RCMP arrested three youths outside of a local business that had been the subject of several break and enters over the past several weeks. The youths were transported back to the Coronation Detachment. As the investigation proceeded after the initial arrest, more young persons were identified as having involvement and were quickly located and brought to the Detachment. A total of six young persons have been identified and dealt with by the police in these matters. The mischief involved to the business shop and contents is estimated to be around $5000. Of particular concern to police was the amount of potentially hazardous materials that were present at the location and the age of the youths involved. It was very fortunate that no one was injured in the matters. Police would like to acknowledge the excellent cooperation provided by the parents of those involved. It is apparent that they have taken a very strong interest in this matter not only on behalf of their children but for the community and victim of the break and enters as well.
