We have some very pretty country around this area. I especially like the scenery around the Brownfield and Talbot area.
Some people found a really good way to view the scenery.

A dozen or so colourful hot air balloons were launched in the Harvest Crunch balloon races at Brian Smiths, Saturday morning.
They floated on the wind in a north-westerly direction, crossing the river and landing on the other side. They went up again in the afternoon also.
Then on Sunday morning they travelled to the south east, landing near Marcus Smiths.
Many spectators enjoyed the colourful display and those taking part enjoyed the hospitality at Brian Smiths.
This became a yearly event and at the third annual event there were more than twenty hot air balloons floating in the skies above Brownfield.
What a sight that must have been. The people on the ground could enjoy the beautiful picture the balloons in the sky made; and the people in the balloons could enjoy a birds eye view of the lovely countryside.
